Moving towards AnnàofMelito you can already see the ancient village of Pentedattilo, a small abandoned town, placed on the top of a cliff of Mount Calvary. To give him this name (Pentedattilo = Penta and Daktylos, five fingers) is the particular form of this cliff, or aCyclopean hand with five fingers, that levers his fingers to the sky, in whose palm lie the houses. It is one of the most unique and fascinating countries in Calabria: Called "Ghost village" because it is now uninhabited, evokes rare suggestions to the visitor with its narrow alleys, the ancient dwellings, the ruinsof the castle and the churches. Gambarie is a mountain resort in the province of Reggio Calabria. Located at 1,350 metres above sea level, it is located in the heart of the Aspromonte National Park, in one of the most important protected areas of Italy, by extension and by naturalistic, wildlife and landscape value.

The town of Tropea is situated on the edge of a promontory at an altitude of 60 m, literally overlooking the sea, with a splendid view over the Tyrrhenian Sea, with the clear sandy beaches and Stromboli Island in the distance.
On arrival there is a good stop on one of the beaches of Tropea to enjoy a few hours of sea and relaxation.
After lunch (the beaches of Tropea are full of refreshments where you can eat) we begin the tour from the sanctuary of Santa Maria of the island which is certainly part of the best known view, and has become the symbol of this town.
